Nick Roberts, David Roberts, Emma Evans, Carl Millington and Steven Henshaw are taking part in the Mazda London Triathlon, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support .  Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. One in three of us will get cancer and we will all be affected by cancer at some point in our lifetime.

In these difficult economic times we are all struggling, but people affected by cancer need our help even more so please dig deep and donate now. A little goes a long way as more and more people are getting cancer, but with the the help of donations, Macmillan Cancer Support are able to help with the improvements in screening, diagnosis and treatment, so that more people are living longer with and after the disease.

With just over two weeks left we are well into our rigorous training schedules. Those of us taking part in the swim feel slightly dubious about swimming in the Thames and maybe a rubber ring and arm bands may be appropriate for certain members of the team (not metioning any names).  For some of us this will be our first time taking part in a triathlon and were slightly under prepared for the several months of grueling training we have had to undertake.  Although we feel aprehensive about taking part, we know that it is for a worth while cause and we feel that what we are doing will make a big difference to the lives of people living with and affected by cancer.

Thank You in advance.
