Story

Hello Everybody and thank you for visiting my justgiving page!

As many of you are aware Ed, my fiance, is currently on tour in Afghanistan with The Parachute Regiment risking his life along with the rest of his men.

The Afghanistan Trust is a relatively small charity and exists to help support soldiers and their families who have served with The Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan and who have been wounded or killed as a consequence.

The money i raise by running the marathon in April will go straight into helping the men Ed is fighting next to right now.

Any donation large or small  is welcome and fully appreciated.

Many thanks,

Emma xx

About the charity

The Afghanistan Trust gives assistance to soldiers of The Parachute Regiment who were wounded in action, or the dependants of those killed in action in Afghanistan. It achieves this through financial and welfare support. It also sustains the memories of the loss of life and sacrifices made
