Imagine being told that you, or someone you love, is losing their sight. In that moment, two profound questions demand urgent answers: Can this be stopped? How will I live my life? We fund the brilliant minds and bright ideas, putting change in sight for everyone impacted by vision loss.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

All money raised by us will go via Fight for Sight to Prof. Miguel Seabra and his team for research only into Choroideremia.  Things have really moved forward and their recent trials have been an amazing success. This procedure has now been approved by the EU and will be taken to the government in October this year. If it is all passed by them clinical trials could begin as early as March 2010. Paul and I are extremely positive about Tommy’s future at the moment. Prof. Seabra said "that is has been partly due to our funding that this has happened so quickly". So light is well and truly at the end of Tommy’s tunnel and hopefully he will be out of the tunnel altogether in the next 3-5 years.

We have now raised £129,000 int total since 2005, without the support and kindess from our family, friends and colleagues this would not have been possible to acheive.

Every penny counts.

Thank you all so much
