Emma's big chop · 20 May 2013

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Hi, My name is Emma and I am 8 years old.

On Thursday 23rd May I am having my hair cut to above my shoulders, which is about 8 inches, so it can be sent off to The Little Princess Trust and hopefully be made into a wig for a girl or boy that has lost theirs for one reason or another.

I have watched my Mummy raise lots of money for cancer charities and I wanted to do something as well. I have grown my hair for a very long time but have now decided i'd like it short. So why not do something good with it!

The wigs are very expensive so if you could sponsor me a couple of pounds I would be very happy and very grateful.

Mummy will put up some pictures of me having my hair cut for you all to see. Thank you for taking the time to look :-)
