I work with people with dementia every day, and the fight for a cure is one of the most worthwhile causes out there.  Dementia impacts the people themselves, their families and the wider community.  Advances in research are happenning every day but we are still a long way off the perfect cure!!

There are 7.7 million new cases of dementia diagnosed every year and Alzheimer's Disease is the cause of 60-70% of cases.  There are currently 800,000 people with dementa in the UK alone!
