Having watched colleagues from Gondola conquer the Pyrenees last year, I decided to give the cycling thing a go. Now obsessed with triathlon and training for an Ironman, I have nowhere to hide. I also have no technique on the bike but there's plenty of time to sort that out before February....
In February I will be joining the team cycling between the 6 stadia of the Six Nations: Rome, Paris, Twickenham, Cardiff, Dublin and Edinburgh. I'll be doing Stage 2 of the DallaglioCycle slam (www.dallagliocycleslam.com) which looks long (686km) and difficult and is all in aid of Sport Relief and the newly formed Dallaglio Foundation. Both causes are worthy of as big a donation as you can manage!
Whilst you will spend December at Christmas parties and cuddled up around the fireplace with your loved ones I will be out on the roads of Bucks sharing my newly perfected gestures with careless drivers. People, believe me, using your car indicators is very important.
