My story

WDP is a big part of my life after being involved as a volunteer from the start ( over 20yrs ago). It all started when my dad became a wheelchair user after having an accident playing American football, his life completely changed, when it came to him trying to find out where he could get support it wasn't easy. He and 2 others decided to set up a helpline in a small office in a day centre which they attended. Over the years it has gone from strength to strength, planning and setting up Disability Awareness Day year in and year out, supporting people overcome barriers by supplying equipment, helping people find work, training courses plus much much more.

I have decided to take part in a sponsored swim so show my support.

Please help me by showing your support and sponsoring me.
