Endo Sisters Walk from Cleethorpes to Skegness

Endo Sisters take a seaside walk. · 16 May 2013

Over 1.5 million in the UK have endometriosis and the impact of the disease is for some devastating, yet diagnosis takes on average 8 years. With your donations we are turning this around, raising awareness, providing support and information, supporting research, and campaigning for change.

Story

Most people who know me know I'm an 'Endo Sister/Warrior' - even if they don't know what Endo is.
Most people who know me know I'm a little over weight and that I want to lose some lbs.
Most people who know me know I'm a bugger for a good cause.

That's why I had the idea of doing an 'endo walk'. From Cleethorpes to Skegvegas stopping off at Mablethorpe on the way - to raise money for Endometriosis UK - a charity which helps with research into Endometriosis as well as supporting women with this often debilitating illness/disease/condition.

The walk is approximately 44 miles if we were to take the coastal route.
What I need to know is how many people want to:

a) Join me.
b) Sponsor me.
c) Be volunteer 'support' drivers taking tents, water, plasters and whatever else we may need.

As well as seeing if businesses would be interested in sponsoring a mad group of ladies taking a hike!

I still need to fully plan a route and contact local authorities to check to see if we would be able to carry collection tins and hand out leaflets.

Please invite your friends to the Event - not to necessarily walk - but to gain information and awareness.

Hope some people do wish to join me though!
