Mikes End to End walk across Britain.

Lands end to john o'groats 3nd july-7th September 2010.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. My name is Mike FitzMaurice and I'm a 22 year old student studying and living in Wolverhampton. I set off from Lands end in Cornwall on the 2nd of July and I walked the full lengh of the country on my own to John Ogroats in Scotland. The journey took me 68 days in total I walked coss country and camped out in my tent in the wild for the whole 1150 miles in aid of the charity "Help for Heroes" who do fantastic work for our injured men and women in the armed forces. The walk will be solo, I will be camping the whole way (rain or shine) carrying everything that I need on my back and hopefully arriving at John O'groats in early september.

These  young men and women are risking there lives for us and Help for Heroes provide practical, direct support for our wounded  who have sacrificed so much. So please be generous, dig deep and donate.
