Dear family and friends,

Better late that never will be my moto for my first ever expedition with Her Planet Earth and Just Challenge to support UN Women UK.

I will trek 80 km along with likely minded women through Iceland hostile, dramatic but beautiful landscapes from lava fields, waterfall and glaciers. Trekking through these untouched and preserved landscapes will sensitized us on how fragile Mother Earth is. During these few days, I will be pushing myself physically and for sure mentally and leave aside my daily confort.

My goal is to increase awareness about environment issues and with the money raised help underprivileged  women across Asia (Bangladesh, Nepal, Vietnam) who are affected by climate changes.

My expedition is entirely self-funded which means that 100% of the funds raised will go towards UN Women UK.

Here are few exemples of how donations can help:

USD 50 - Could provide a series of leadership and self-esteem workshops for women and girls to give them the skills and confidence to respond to these climate risk challenges.

USD 500 - Could help us set up a livelihood project that empowers women business leaders in agriculture to manage their business in at-risk areas.

USD 1000 - Could allow us to work with gouvernements to develop Post-Disaster Needs Assessments (PDNAs) to inform disaster recovery strategies and national disaster management planning.
