Story

Hi everyone,

I have signed up for the biggest challange of my life Tough Mudder 2013. It is advertised as 'probably the toughest event on the planet'. It is a 12 mile run with extreme obstacles in between that I am at the moment trying not to look at. But I believe there is ice, water, mud and electricity!!

Why I hear you ask? Well......an old friend (Doug) from the days when I thought it was ok to be at the pub at 11am, yes 'The Wheatie Years' has Motor Neurone Disease and rather than be the usual spectator I decided that it was time to get up and help in some small way.

My idea of exercising is to swim or do yoga, every month or two and pretend I am really fit. At the moment I think your gran could complete this course quicker than me. However, I have joined the gym and am trying to train although running is not a strong area. I am committed to crossing the finish line no matter what!

So please spare a few pounds to help me on my way.

Thanks peeps, Erica xx
