I might be mad or perhaps just plain daft but decided it was about time I fulfilled a promise that I made to my mum a few years back. When I told Mum I was thinking of doing a tandem skydive for a charity I truly thought she'd say "oh don't be so stupid" ... but instead I got the "ok sounds like a good idea"...!! 

So when I happened to mention my half baked idea of doing a tandem skydive in work the other day, Karen told me about her cousins little boy Caiden and how some of her family are trying to raise money for all the incredible work this charity provides to children affected by cancer. Caiden has been battling Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma since he was 5 months old. He's had a really tough time, is so amazingly brave and he's still only 5 yrs old. I no longer had an excuse not to do this. 

BUT for me to be able to do this I'm really go to need everyone's help as I'm really scared!!! Seriously, I don't even like going up the ladder into our loft - never mind jumping out of a plane at 14,000 ft and falling at speeds of upto 120 mph!! Puts my stomach into knots just thinking about it but if I can raise the money I'll not be able to back out! 

I know I can't do anything for Mum anymore but I can do something to help Caiden, his family and the many others out there x 

The jump is only 6 weeks away so don't have a lot of time to raise funds but the flip side is that it gives me less time to back out! With your donations I'll have to do it!
