The professors at The University of Nottingham are working on innovative research in order to detect breast cancer early, prevent it from spreading, and develop treatments that will help save lives. I want to support this work by raising money as part of the University's Life Cycle 6 fundraising campaign.

I don't have a bike so I'm going to do the next best thing I can think of to raise some money... run the Robin Hood Half Marathon. As you can see from the picture, I have done the half-marathon before... But that does not make it any easier this time around. Your contribution will ensure that I turn up on the day and stop making excuses as to why I can't run! Plus you will be contributing to the life-saving research taking place right here in Nottingham and Derby.
