Back in February 2008 my life changed forever.  

Charley Corden was born but didn't live. Charley died following delivery and left a gaping hole in all our lives. He was the first child born to one of my oldest and dearest friends and we had all talked endlessly about our hopes and dreams for him. It wasn't to be.

Now as the passage of time performs her healing miracles my friends and I can look forward again but Charley will be in our hearts always.

Charley is with me on every run I have done since he died and will be forever more, because he never had the chance to run and play, to breathe the freshest air on Dartmoor, to feel the spray of the sea on his face. He reminds me to try and live my life to the full, every day.

I want to raise as much money as possible for SPARKS to help fund research that might make it possible to save babies like Charley.
