WOW!!! What a fantastic experience from registering at Excel to the much appreciated massage from Action Aid at the finish ! The organisation was superb and the staff so upbeat and friendly, crowds of spectators lined the streets, the noise was amazing with people calling out your name with words of encouragement, it made it so special.

I am delighted to be running the London Marathon for a really wonderful charity 'Monmouth Aid', please note that all donations from this page will go directly to Monmouth Aid for their school project in Meroshile, Ethiopia. We have already raised £819:89 with our Gatsby themed evening, a really BIG thank you to every one that came along and supported us, for the wonderful costumes and for making the evening such a huge success :-)

Training:

I ran the Grizzly 20 mile multi terrain race in Seaton on 9th March as part of my Marathon training , it was a glorious day, many steep hills and plenty of mud!!!

16th March, last long run done :-) 22 miles! 

8th April, easy 4 miles yesterday, circuits at 7 this morning, swim tomorrow and a couple miles run on Thursday and that will be it until the big day!

10th April, have arrived in London :-) Had to go to Excel to register, really buzzy atmosphere, I am excited and nervous at the same time! Going to visit the Tower of London tomorrow :-)
