On 20 April, I am running 10km in the beautiful Callender countryside (up a few hills apparently) partly to prepare for a half marathon, but also to raise some much needed hardship funds for Refugeee Action York (RAY).

Refugee Action York is a small registered charity providing support to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in York. Some of the families we work with are destitute. We need help to provide people with the basics - food, shoes, winter coats. We want to be able to offer a service which respects people's basic human rights and their dignity and we need your help.
