I am participating in this tandem skydive for the Cardiomyopathy association. This association has been a rock for my family since 2002. I have lived first hand what cardiomyopathy is like to live with, my mum over 10 years ago had a lifesaving heart transplant and can confidently say she is a new person. 

On another hand our family lost 2 of my siblings one as a very young baby, the other my brother was sadly taken too young at the age of 22 whilst waiting for a lifesaving heart transplant. 

The cardiomyopathy Association work hard fundraising all over the world to ensure they have a amazing support network for families who suffer from numerous different types of this heart muscle disease. The disease is normally genetic and if caught early enough can often be treated sucessfully and most go onto lead a normal healthy life.
