JCD - 2012 Community Fun Run · 20 May 2012 to 21 May 2012 ·

At Jewish Child’s Day we believe no Jewish child should live in poverty, need or suffering - anywhere. We support over 12,000 Jewish children every year who suffer from physical and emotional disabilities, neglect, abuse and financial hardship, therefore your support will make a huge impact.

Story

Hello and welcome to our 'page'.

Much like a JK Rowling page This will be a place of magic, excitement and a group of friends trying to save the world. Ok, maybe not the world but making a change to the lives of Jewish children at the very least.

You may wonder how in less than a month, 6 people ranging from zero exercise to occassional 5-a-side Goalie we will be running 60km. But we have devised a clever plan, where each of us will run 10km and thus together we will acheive our enoumous 60km target.

Training shoes have been bought and work-out apps downloaded and were raring to go and we would love you guys to help us along in our quest and donate to this wonderful cause...

This wonderful cause....Jewish Childs Day!! A few months ago we were fortunate to attend a dinner hosted by Jewish Childs Day - a charity that has been set up to help Jewish children who suffer from physical and emotional disabilities, neglect, abuse and financial hardship in England, Israel and around the world.

We have chosen to run a total of 60km to not only raise money but to raise awareness of this special cause, and need your support!

Take a look at the website and please help us in any way you can!

http://jcd.uk.com/

Please dig deep for this worthy cause and to provide us with the motivation to drag ourselves round the course...or just to stop us pestering you contantly on facebook/twitter/texts/social events/myspace/bebo/LinkedIn you get the picture... :)

Thank you so much,

Adam Cohen, Benjamin Gordon, Dani Colletts, Esther Rainsbury, Jamie Grossman and Rachel Gaon.
