Story

Ethan died at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital on 5 June 2009.  He was just 3 years old.

Ethan underwent a heart operation that was completely successful.  One week later, his condition deteriorated suddenly and he died later that evening, despite the best efforts of the medical team.

The family of Ethan are raising funds for the Children’s Hospital to purchase much needed equipment to ensure they give the children in their care the best chance.

We would be grateful for any donations to Ethan’s cause and to have the knowledge that we will be helping other cardiac children from across the UK.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
