Thank you for taking the time to visit Dave's JustGiving page.
Dave was a wonderful, kind, gentle person with razor-sharp wit, a love for the ridiculous and who was a master piss-taker. His life as I rememember it was full of fun and laughter and his presence made so many people very happy.
He cared about his friends so much and helped countless people, whether in person, or via the internet. He gave part of himself to anyone he met and looked past the outside shell to who they really were, and this was a truly special gift. He also cared about social justice, human rights and harm reduction and was determined to work in this field.
In his memory, his family, friends and myself would like to raise some money for Bristol Drugs Project, as this was a cause he supported wholeheartedly. He was hoping to volunteer for them upon his return to Bristol. As this will sadly no longer be possible, if anyone would like to honour his name by making a donation, however small, it would be gratefully received.
If not don't worry - Dave understood what it was like to be skint! But if you could just take the little part of Dave that he gave to you and keep it within you and try to let the things he cared about and the person he was live on, that would be wonderful.
