This July I am going to Malawi for 3 weeks with school. During my stay I will be visiting and volunteering at many different places including Vikwa and Chimbowe Primary Schools, St Andrew's Orphanage, Malama Feeding centre and a premature baby unit. 

I am starting off my fundraising for the Zikomo Trust by taking part in the Major Series North 10k Run organised by British Military Fitness on the 18th March 2017. Throughout the run I will have to face 20 obstacles, including muddy bogs, log carrying, river crossings and a barbed wire crawl. 

Malawi is the 6th poorest country in the world and it only costs £12 to feed an orphan for a whole year so please give generously!

The Zikomo Trust provides grants and funding towards educational and social projects aimed at the most vulnerable in society, the elderly and orphaned.
