My sister, Louise, works for AV UK as a speech therapist and tells the most amazing stories of how they teach deaf babies and children to listen and speak using a special kind of speech therapy called Auditory Verbal Therapy.  This enables around 80% of them to integrate in mainstream schools after just 3 years and sets them up to achieve their full potential in life!
