My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I signed up for the Bristol 10km in January 2012 after my First weigh in at Slimming world and i was shocked to find I started 2012 weighing 20st 12lb. My heaviest ever!.

To date I've lost 2st 9lbs.

I've also managed to persuade my 4 brothers and 1 Uncle, so the race is on. My Goal is to complete the 10km, but if I could wipe the smile off at least one of my brothers by beating them, that would be a real bonus. As well as raising lots of money for cots for tots.

We were lucky enough to have two healthy daughters born at St Michaels Hospital, which is only a few miles from our house. Not everyone is so lucky, so i want to help other babies and their familes as much as I can.

Well thats it. I completed the Bristol 10km yesterday. My time was 1 hour 4 minutes and 52 seconds. I managed to wipe the smile of at least 1 brother, by beating his time by 5 mins.Thank you to all who have sponsored me. Photos to follow. Cheers Ewan.
