<p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hello folks!</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>On the 15th of April this year (only 6 weeks from now), I will be running my first ever Marathon in Paris (no easy task). The 26.2 mile route will take me from the </span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 15.5pt; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Champs-Elys&eacute;es</span><span>, down past the Louvre, round the Bastille and returning along the Seine past Notre-Dame, the ever gorgeous Tour Eiffel, Roland Garros and finishing with a sprint towards the Arc de Triomphe with a target time of under 4 hours. I will be running past these beautiful sights in one of the most spectacular cities of the world, but for someone even more beautiful and spectacular.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>The Merrybrook Care home in Bridge of Weir look after many adults over the age of 16 with a range of complex physical and/or learning disabilities. The staff work incredibly hard to care for the residents at Merrybrook and provide a large range of experiences and opportunities that may not have been available to them before. As a result the adults and children at Merrybrook can lead a rewarding lifestyle of their own choice.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>One of the people being cared for in Merrybrook at the moment is a 17 year old girl who is extremely close to my heart. Rhian Dallachy.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>By raising money for Merrybrook I can help to improve the day-to-day life and experiences of Rhian and all of the children being cared for by the staff at Merrybrook.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>My target is to raise &pound;1000 to help Merrybrook improve their downstairs washroom facilities and make additions to the sensory room.
