Paris to Geneva - Charity Cycle Ride 2010 · 22 September 2010

EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

After surprising many, including myself, by cycling from London to Paris 2 years ago, I am, against common sense and naturally my wife's advice, dusting down my trusty bike and stretching my lycra even further to cycle the demanding 350 miles from Paris to Geneva in only 4 days to again raise as much money as possible for Headway, the brain injury association.

For several years I have worked as an investment manager for clients who have suffered a brain injury. Given this, I fully appreciate the excellent help and support Headway provide to those who have suffered a brain injury and their families during a very stressful time.

Whilst I have already started my training, this ride, at my age and size, is going to be difficult and challenging for me. Therefore, to make it easier, please support me by giving as generously as you can.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me as Headway will receive your donation faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer and select Gift Aid, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please help as much as you can and sponsor me now.

Many thanks in anticipation of your support

Ewan
