Story
<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">In September 2011 </span></span></span><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">I joined FFIT (Football fans in Training). This is a programme for men between 35 and 65, with a trouser waist of more than 38 inches. Run by the SPL Trust and the Medical Research Council in conjunction with the SPL clubs (plus Hamilton Accies), the course was about improving my diet and increasing my level of exercise, the Goal being to lose weight and make me healthier.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">I was lucky enough to be accepted into the Programme run by the Hibernian Community Foundation Ltd. You dont need to go to the programme run by the club you support, and as many of you know I am an avid St Mirren Fan. Despite this I was welcomed by all of the coaches and other paticipants.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Each Monday eveing for 12 weeks I travelled to Easter Road Stadium to join with my fellow FFITers for advice and encouragement on diet and exercise. We would then spend the second half of the evening doing circuit training in the concourse of the new stand, under the watchful eyes of SPL Coaches.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">I lost a fair amount of weight during the 12 week programme and continue to do so. Indeed I am now going back on a Tuesday evening to Easter Road to continue the programme.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">The Coaches and Volunteers gave up their own time to come along and provide the sessions for us. Hibernian Community Foundation is a charity and needs to recive donations to survive. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">The Course was provided to the participants free of charge, and therefore I am asking you all to dig deep and donate whatever you can to help the Foundation to continue its worthwhile work with the Community.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="mso-ansi-language: EN;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Dont forget to Add the Gift Aid to your Donations.</span></span></span></p>
