Story

Bill Allan’s Trans-European Challenge

Express Insurance Back Bill Allan’s Trans-European Challenge in support of the Army Benevolent Fund.

Durham born, Bill Allan served in H.M. Armed Forces throughout the eighties, and many of his friends and ex-servicemen, now rely on the support of the Army Benevolent Fund in their day to day lives. Combining his loyalty to his comrades, his passion for the Armed Forces, and his love for all things bikes, Bill had an amazingly ambitious idea.

A way to raise funds to support those who support his fellow ex-servicemen - the true heroes of these shores, and those who fight bravely on behalf of us all.

Bill will ride over 6000 miles, on a journey spanning 13 countries, over 22 days, from his home in Croyden to the border of Iraq, and back again!

How? On his 1995 Yamaha TDM Mark 1 850cc motorcycle, with nothing but himself and a few essential supplies for company.

That’s right! Bill will be looking to accomplish this hugely ambitious, brave and courageous feat, alone!

At Express Insurance we believe in Bill. We’re in full support of his cause, his passion and his loyalty. Which is why we are giving Bill Allan’s Charity Iraq Adventure in support of the Army Benevolent Fund, our full support.
