Last year's 5k Minithon was the biggest to date and this year promises to be even better because not only will I be leading the FC men's first team out, we also have some of our young Development Squad and Women's team joining us and the fans. We'll run, walk or crawl around Chorlton Meadows to raise money for two great causes - our partner charity and our club.

The Minithon has raised thousands of pounds for our club and local charities. Last year our efforts enabled local charity The ACE Centre  to purchase an Eye Gaze Unit, enabling people with severe disabilities to operate a computer soley by use of their eyes. Based in Oldham, ACE’s speech and language therapists, specialist teachers and occupational therapists work across England to enable those children, young people and adults with severe and complex communication difficulties to communicate effectively and "have a voice".
