We are a group of 1st year Media Studies students at the University of Brighton running a social action campaign as part of the University's Community Media 4 Kenya partnership programme.

We are raising funds for a day orphanage in Ruiru, Kenya run by the Focus Youth Initiative (FYI) to support 60 children who are in need of basic necessities such as food, clothing, educational materials and shelter, as well as medical supplies. Our fundraising activities are focusing predominately on supporting the day orphanage mentioned above. All money  donated here will go to support the orphanage care and support programme. Our money will establish a steady income for them and this page is one of many platforms we are utilising in order to fundraise for this great cause.

The money we raise with your help will transform the lives of many children and the community in Ruiru. On behalf of the community, we are extremely grateful and thankful for any amount of money you can spare.
