Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 27th November 2011, I will leaving England and flying to The Falkland Islands with two friends, both of whom fought with the Parachute Regiment in the Falklands War. We will be retracing their 140km tab across the Falklands raising money for The Afghan Trust, a charity that looks after families of Parachute Regiment Soldiers who have lost their lives or been injured whilst fighting in Afghanistan.

JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

The Afghanistan Trust gives assistance to soldiers of The Parachute Regiment who were wounded in action, or the dependants of those killed in action in Afghanistan. It achieves this through financial and welfare support. It also sustains the memories of the loss of life and sacrifices made
