<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"><span style="font-size: small;">The Fusiliers Aid Society exists to provide much needed support to serving and retired Fusiliers who have been wounded on operations in the service of their Country, and for the families of Fusiliers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives for the security of the United Kingdom.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It also supports Fusiliers who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own, many of them suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"><span style="font-size: small;">In all the operations this Regiment has been engaged in since its formation over 40 years ago, it is those men who were killed who made the headlines.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> However, f</span>or each Fusilier killed there are at least five wounded, many with life-changing injuries.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> For example, as a result of the Afghan conflict we recently sustained 7 killed and 28 seriously wounded. </span>Those men will need our help for the rest of their lives, and it is through donations such as yours that we are able to provide a little of that help.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>All the money raised is used for benevolence as there are absolutely no overheads.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></span></p>
