<p>Family and friends of our dear Fatana,</p> <p>As you know, Fatana passed away on 14 October 2011 following an eight month battle against the effects of a brain haemorrhage suffered in early February.</p> <p>Fatana was deeply committed to supporting disadvantaged Afghans living in&nbsp;the beautiful, but blighted,&nbsp;country. One independent charity she chose to support was Afghanaid, an international humanitarian and developmental NGO which has been working with Afghans for thirty years. Afghanaid&nbsp;is currently working with over one million adults and children in Afghanistan's poorest and most remote areas.</p> <p>In loving memory of Fatana, we would like to suggest friends and family make a donation to the charity&nbsp;in lieu of&nbsp;sending flowers.
