Family and friends of our dear Fatana,
As you know, Fatana passed away on 14 October 2011 following an eight month battle against the effects of a brain haemorrhage suffered in early February.
Fatana was deeply committed to supporting disadvantaged Afghans living in the beautiful, but blighted, country. One independent charity she chose to support was Afghanaid, an international humanitarian and developmental NGO which has been working with Afghans for thirty years. Afghanaid is currently working with over one million adults and children in Afghanistan's poorest and most remote areas.
In loving memory of Fatana, we would like to suggest friends and family make a donation to the charity in lieu of sending flowers. Your donation to Afghanaid would mean so much to Fatana and will deliver help to the most deserving people in Afghanistan.
