Story
Thank you for visiting my page. On the 17th of September, I will join Who is Hussain in the London to Brighton bike ride. I will be doing this 54 miles cycle challenge to raise funds for the homeless people of London.
This page is a place for anyone who wants to donate any amount, doesn't matter how big or small. You can help me raise money for a cause I care so deeply about. Even if it may not seem like much it really goes a long way to giving the homeless community the help they desperately need.
WHO IS HUSSAIN – AIM
Who is Hussain? London is a voluntary organisation committed to tackling injustice on a local and global scale. The organisation believes in helping the less fortunate and inspiring others to do good. Every Saturday, volunteers from all over London come together to host a food drive for the homeless. The name may say food drive, but the organisation does more than just hand out food to the homeless guests. They also provide CV workshops, offer free haircuts and spend time engaging with their guests.
The funds raised will go towards improving the services provided to the homeless guests in London and introducing new elements including providing mobile showers for the homeless guests and storage to the food drive team.
THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN.
During his time, Hussain fought against injustice and stood up for everything that’s right, from taking care of the orphans to feeding the homeless.
Homelessness can happen to almost anybody and your donations allows us to help the greatest possible number of people in need. Life consists of survival in the first place, which primarily means having shelter, food, safety and personal relationships. And sometimes, even if there’s only one minor inconvenience or setback, it can create a sense of fear followed by stress. For instance, when people in our society are three months’ pay away from being evicted and living on the streets. It can all happen to any of us. The daily life of family and work may seem simple, but in reality it is very much complex. And when trauma isn’t processed correctly, it can lead too many sometimes even life threating events. The person who has endured the trauma may even be scarred for life. I believe that’s why trauma is often seen as the root cause of homelessness. And let’s not forget that being homeless, is a form oftrauma on its own.
With your help, Who is Hussain London would be able support as many people as possible. You can help by donating to the cause. Please become a supporter to help out those in need!
