Newsflash: 4/3/12 Yesterday I took part in my first race in 12 years. The 5km Shakespeare Raceway event was a very windy course at Long Marston Airfield. I finished the run in 29 minutes and 5 seconds and came 46th overall out of 77 competitors. I was 15th lady over the line and 3rd lady in the 30-34 years category. I really enjoyed competitive running again and cant wiat for my next event at MORETON MORRELL MAD DASH 10km.  Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. For 2012 my goal is to raise £1000 for Allergy UK. My son, Caleb, 2 has suffered from eczema and food allergies since the age of 3 months old and recently developed asthma as well. He is a normal 2 year old in every other way but his allergies are complex and difficult to manage. Allergy UK campaign for research, provide support and useful information for allergy sufferers and their families. Throughout 2012 I am embarking on a series of challenges and events to raise as much as I can toward a great charity that means a lot to me.   My first challenge is a 5km run at Long Marston Airfield, Nr Stratford upon Avon. Those of you that know me will be aware that I was a keen runner in my teens and early twenties-this is my attempt to get back into a sport I loved while raising money.
