Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in loving memory of Fay Barnes.  Beloved mother and grandmother.  

During the last weeks of her life Fay was cared for at home by her family with support from local district nurses and staff from 'The Beacon' in Guildford who cared for her at home each night.

The Beacon is supported by Marie Curie cancer care.  Their wonderful staff provide palliative care at home for people coping with the effects of cancer or a life-changing progressive illness. Their expert team provide specialist clinical care to maintain physical and emotional well-being and to enhance quality of life. 

All staff from The Beacon ensured that Fay was cared for with the utmost dignity and respect at all times.  They also truly cared for and supported us as her family.  We wish to raise money for The Beacon so that other families may have the reassurance of receiving the care and support from this wonderful service at such a difficult time.
