This is not just any fundraising page.

This is not just me trying to run a half marathon.

I work for this charity Place2Be.

I don't know of a better charity with better purpose or better ethics than them.

I work there not because its profitable, not because its easy and not because I think working with children is fun, I work  there because work like this has to be done.

There are children at my school who are braver than any other people I meet, from a young age they face violence, poverty, death and abuse and often school offers them their first meal of the day.

On top of that they are expected to make it through the school day?! Be well behaved, be well dressed, concentrate and listen and be nice to the other children.....

Now that would be a tough ask for anyone let alone an 8 yr old.

Thats where we come in, offering children a Place2(just)Be.
