My family and some of my friends have been affected by Cancer. I felt I wanted to do something to give back and help them find ways of curing the disease.

In Year 4 one of our topics was Mountains and rivers. I decided I wanted to climb a Mountain and thought it would be a good idea to use this as a challenge and a way of trying to raise money for Cancer Research.

I got in-touch with several charity organisations by myself and eventually one responded. They said they would fund me to climb up Snowdonia as normally charity organisations don’t fund children under 15 but they were so inspired by my email he has planned and booked my trip and organised a guide for my family and his to do this challenge.

Any donations will be so gratefully appreciated to raise money for this exceptional charity.

I am due to climb the mountain on the 20^th of September! Please wish me luck!!
