£10 – Christmas Lunches
Our catering team and volunteers go that extra mile every day to provide fabulous meals for patients. At Christmas we provide celebratory lunches for day hospice and In Patient Unit patients, whilst catering for all dietary needs. Your FeelGoodGift helps provide a nutritious and delicious Christmas lunch with all the trimmings.
£20 – A complementary therapy treatment
We all like to find a relaxing treat in our Christmas stocking and your FeelGoodGift can provide a special present for a patient at St Richard’s over the festive period. Through the complementary therapies we offer your gift can provide a wonderful, relaxing, aromatherapy massage, Indian head massage, reiki or reflexology session.
£30 – Comfort and support
Our skilled counsellors help grieving families come to terms with their loss throughout the year. Many find Christmas a particularly difficult time in their lives when they feel overwhelmed by their emotions. The hospice cares for the whole family, as well as the patient. Your FeelGoodGift will help provide comfort and support.
£50 – time for memories and celebrations!
Our Memory Days help capture those special moments to take into the future and is particularly helpful to small children. Some families are living with the knowledge that this Christmas will be the last one shared with their loved one. Your FeelGoodGift allows our family support team to work with children to create happy memories and memory boxes.
£75 – skilled nursing care all year round
Your FeelGoodGift provides skilled nursing care day and night, vitally important when you or someone you love is in great pain. Our 16-bed In-patient Unit is open 24-hours a day all year round including Christmas day. Our expert specialist nurses offer support and advice in a patient’s own home and for those who wish to stay at home in their last days, our Hospice at Home service can help make this a comfortable choice. Our nursing staff go that extra mile to make Christmas day special for our patients and families.
