Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm Felicity Morton the manager of Reading Day Opportunities a Prospects service supporting adults with learning disabilities in the Thames Valley area.

Reading Day Opportunities is a truly amazing place and I feel enormously privilaged to work here.  Every day really exciting things happen as I see people grow in confidence and learn new skills. My staff team are very hard working and dedicated and get to know the people they support really well.

In the print shop a small groups of people with learning disabilities are supported to run a buisness making beautiful silk screan printed cards and gifts.

I am cycling from Abingdon to Reading to raise money for our IT project.  We want to buy some items of computer equipment that can be used by people of all abilities to communicate and have fun. Any money left over will go to our trips and outings fund.

If you would like to ride with me I am setting of from St Helen's Church Abingdon at 9 am on Thursday 14th October.  I will be stopping for lunch in Wallingford.  You will be able to follow my progress on Facebook and Twitter over the course of the day

Please give generously!
