Unicef provide vaccines to immunise almost half of the world's children against preventable diseases. Since 1980, Unicef has helped quadruple immunisation rates for children worldwide, saving up to 3 million children's lives a year.  Unicef provides 80% of the world's life-saving emergency food for children. It helps establish clean water supplies in disaster relief and works in more than 100 countries to provide better water supplies and sanitation facilities. The charity also supports children's education and sets up classrooms in disaster-hit areas. It works with governments to establish effective child protection services.

I am sailing 2 legs on Unicef, a boat racing in the 2017-18 Clipper Round the World Race. We are fundraising to support the work that Unicef UK do across the world.
