felix cycles 1,450 miles home from Slovenia

Felix's bike ride to Slovenia · 20 July 2015
Hi, my name is Felix Leckie, I'm 12 years old and live in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
I love cycling with my dad so we decided this year to set ourselves a real challenge - to cycle from Slovenia back to Newark. We will cycle from Tolmin towards Bolzano in Italy before going over the Alps at Davos in Switzerland. We will then pick up the source of the Rhine and cycle from Chur past Lake Constance towards Basel and then through Germany down to Rotterdam on the North Sea, arriving in Hull to cycle the last 80 miles to Newark to complete the trip.
We're doing this for 2 reasons:
1) To do something amazing that we can be proud of and never forget
but more importantly
2) To raise as much money as we can for the Children's Bereavement Centre in Newark - an amazing charity that helps children who are experiencing loss through divorce, separation, terminal illness or death.
Every 22 minutes a child in the UK is bereaved of a parent and approximately 1 in 25 children have experienced the death of a parent or a brother or sister.
Please help us to support this small, local charity.
1 penny a mile will raise £14.50 and knowing how much money we're raising every mile will keep us going!!
Many thanks
Felix
