I’m running the Bristol Half Marathon for Blood Cancer UK on 19th May. I’m running for dad but also for one of our close family friends currently batting blood cancer too.

In March 2018, my Dad, John Cooney, passed away from lymphoma complications so we’ve chosen Bloodwise, the Blood cancer charity, to raise money for. Dad was an international oarsman and decent cyclist so we thought a physical challenge would only be fitting. We hope that the money we raise will help change blood cancer suffers lives.
