<p>Dear friends and family,</p> <p>3 weeks ago, We cooked up the rather foolish idea of cycling to the Isle of Wight for Bestival and then cycling all the way back, after 3 days of drink , merriment and very little sleep. All while dressed as Freddie Mercury (Felix) and Madonna (Sam).</p> <p>Crazy? Yes we thought so too, but we're giving it a go and we're raising money for a very worthy cause - The Samaritans.</p> <p>The Samaritans require &pound;10 million each year to keep their phonelines and face to face services operational. It's a wonderful service, open 24 hours a day, with the very laudable objective of improving people's emotional health.</p> <p>Please give generously. In return there will be 'live' twitter feeds, video and lots of other sources of general amusement from both days of cycling.
