On July 3rd at 4am, 14 staff from Fernhill Secondary School are embarking on an epic 102 mile cycle from Ilfracoombe to Plymouth. Having done very little cycling before, we are anxious that our sore backsides are not for nothing, and ask that you give as generously as you can.
We are aiming to make money for a charity called the Esther Benjamin trust. This trust does really important work in Nepal, helping their most vulnerable children escape horrible situations.
These children and young people include:
• Children of prisoners previously forced to live alongside their convicted parents in Nepali jails• Former street children
• Survivors of child trafficking whom we have rescued from Indian circuses• ‘At-risk’ children: siblings of trafficked children still living in trafficking-prone areas
