Having lost my Dad, husband to Pat aka Mam, in 2001 to a disease related to MND, we have done what we can to support other families suffering with this incurable disease and rasing much needed money to fund reseach and support the MNDA.

I've done various challenges before but this one is pushing my fear factor to the limits, and Mam wont be held down in her fight to defeat MND. So what are we doing?

 

well I'm jumping out of a little plane from 15K feet with a person strapped to my back who'll have some string and a bit of silk to slow us down!

Mam (who's not allowed to parachute due to being fully bionic in the knee department) is learning to fly a Tiger moth plane and then doing aerobatics in it, hoping not to fall out!

We're paying for these privileges! ourselves in order that donations made will go direct to the MNDA ensuring they can continue to fund research into finding a cure for MND and provide support to those currently suffering from this debilitating cruel disease.

MND kills 5 people a day in the UK, it can effect anyone at any age anywhere. I lost my dad to a related illness so do what I can to try to protect others from the pain it causes.
