Story
My friend and I are cycling unsupported 960 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats.
We will start riding on 1 August and will be riding between 70 and 90 miles a day. As we are unsupported we will also be carrying our kit and tools for any repairs.
Our trip will be 13 days of solid cycling, with a couple of planned rest days to help us out or to be used for riding if we get stuck.
If the above doesn't sound tough enough...imagine 13 days spent in full lycra and padded bum shorts (and maybe even two pairs of those!)
Plus...
I have never successfully navigated ANYWHERE.
I can safely say this ride will be a challenge and I would like to raise money for Julia's House which is a hospice for children with life-limiting illnesses. Julia's House is dedicated to providing love, support and help to both them, and their families.
