On July 25th we both welcomed and lost our dearest Fiadh (our Pippin for so long), who we had long waited to meet. Born sleeping, we cherish the brief joy we had with her, our blond haired baby giraffe with the long legs. John and I were able to take photos with her, create hand prints and spend time with our precious girl - creating a memory box to keep forever.

Instead of flowers or gifts, we would like our friends and family to give to North Herts SANDS, who help those like ourselves in the area and the hospital where Fiadh was born. 

Sadly 1 in 4 pregnancies still end in loss and other families every day go through this devastation. Sands helps these bereaved parents - providing support, helping them to make memories and pushing both awareness and research so hopefully in the future we see those numbers go down.
