Filmsteps have challenged each of their Filmsteps crews across the country to choose a charity and make their very own mini 'Charity Telethon' style TV program. In order to qualify, however, it MUST include the following 4 things: a documentary clip about their charity; a news report on additional fundraising activities; an entertainment clip and their own original telethon logo.
And their challenge is to do this in JUST 10 WEEKS!!
The challenge was launched in January and we are immensely proud of our crews, some as young as just 7yrs old, who have launched themselves into their task with gusto! Above all we have been impressed by the passion and and determination they have demonstrated in support of their nominated charities.
FILMSTEPS TEDDINGTON FS3 have chosen RIANNA'S FUND as their charity. In January 2003 Rianna, just eight years old, died tragically when a tree fell at her school in Ashstead, Surrey.
Filmsteps Teddington are asking people to support them in their fundraising by making a donation via this site. All donations, however small, are gratefully received. This site is easy and safe to use and all the money goes directly to the charity.
The charity works closely with their project partners ensuring that every donation they receive directly benefits and supports the children in their projects.
The Filmsteps Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for Filmsteps crews to show how their filmmaking skills can be put to good use to raise money and awareness for a good cause.
THANK YOU:-)
