Our little rugrat was born at 20:27 on 30th November 2009. Unfortunately he was found to have no heartbeat three days before this. We named him Finlay Morton.
We cannot give enough thanks to the support and assistance we got from the ante-natal ward at St. Mary's Maternity Hospital and the S.P.R.I.N.G charity. Thanks to S.P.R.I.N.G we were able to have our own private suite away from everyone on the ward, with a lounge, bedroom and bathroom available for us and our family. We were taken through the worst days of our lives with the most considerate and compassionate people you could ever possibly meet.
S.P.R.I.N.G (Supporting Parents and Relatives In Neonatal Grief) was set up to provide support to parents and relatives who
have experienced the death of a baby during pregnancy, at, or just
after birth. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth and termination for
foetal abnormality. S.P.R.I.N.G. supports in a number of ways, through
counselling, befriending and during a subsequent pregnancy.

Just 12 weeks ago, due to this happening to a friend we donated to this charity in the hopeful assumption we would never need to use their services and yet here we are! So please dig deep and donate now.
Please don't find our photo shocking, Finlay is our son and we are very, very proud!!
