Hi I'm Fin, I am 10 years old and I live in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

I am raising money for Surf Action, who help ex-service people who have suffered from mental and physical injuries.

I am going to clock up enough miles to get me to the Olympic stadium (273 miles). I will start at the begining of February and aim to have completed the mileage on 27th July 2012 (the date of opening ceremony). I will do this by running, walking, cycling and swimming and will use a pedometer and lap counter to record my mileage along the way. I will keep you updated as I go.

UPDATE 18th March 2012 Hi everyone, thankyou so much for all your sponsorship and support so far. I started my task back in Feb clocking up almost 30 miles through cycling and walking. Unfortunately since then I have suffered 3 weeks of illness and went on my school residential to Ise of White (that was brilliant by the way). Anyway, I'm on the road to recovery now and aiming to start my next virtual leg of the journey hoping to clock up another 50 miles or more by the end of April. Wish me luck, I have some cyle rides planned and hope to get out on the coast with my dog Bonnie. The lighter nights and warmer weather will help.

Will update you soon on my exact mileage and virtual location.

Update 13/4/12 -

I have done 82.6miles so I've past Exeter and on the M 5. On the seventh of april I got to go to the new 50 meter pool in Plymouth to do some swim training. My club got a 2 hour slot to train. in that 2 hours I did about 3 miles. And I didn't stop.

Keep suporting me

Thankyou

Fin
